At Life Start, we are obsessed with improving national standards for training so participants can feel confident to act when it counts.

First aid training CAN be different than it’s always been.

The last few years have shown us that passion, quality training, and a positive (and fun!) attitude can make a lasting impact - and help people save more lives in our communities. We were fortunate to have worked alongside the Canadian Red Cross in our earlier years, but as the world changes, so do training needs, and we’re 100% committed to adapting. Doing our own thing helps us adapt a little more freely and in our own unique style.

With the exciting launch of our own approved programs, we can pursue innovation and pivot training methods to better serve the first aid training world we know and love as it evolves. We’ll keep on developing training programs and courses that are laser-focused on quality and safety. We’re also thrilled to launch new initiatives that will help our mission to save more lives and help us give back.

Why Life Start?

Roughly 80% of Canadians who have a heart attack will have it at home or at work. Their chance of survival if this happens is less than 10% (as of 2018 stats). That number isn't high enough for us and it shouldn’t be high enough for you, or for someone you love. As a Franchise Owner, you will join us in saving more lives.

Let’s take out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rates from less than 10% to 50% - over the next decade. Doesn’t 1 in 2 sound better than 1 in 10-ish when it comes to people’s lives?

Training and Support

Life Start Training’s comprehensive support and training program has been developed to be a road map to success.

The support and training you will receive consists of the following phases:

• Phase 1: Pre-Opening
• Phase 2: Opening Week
• Phase 3: Post Opening
• Phase 4: Ongoing marketing support with bi-weekly live Q&A sessions with our Marketing Expert.
• Phase 5: Ongoing training & National update support

Investment Details

• The investment required is reasonable and attainable
• Unencumbered cash required: $15,000
• Franchise fee: $35,000
• Estimated equipment, start-up, location development $15,000
• Royalty fee: 6%
• National advertising: 3%
• Local marketing: 1%
• Location size: 500 - 1000 square feet
• Marketing launch package: $5,000 (approx.)
